Sarah is interested in having her students do a project during their home room period while Martha is looking for her environmental club students to do some planting at the new traffic island at Oakland Street and Birch Meadow Drive. Joan Is awaiting a reply from the Reading Garden Club's president Evelyn Pyle. The climate committee has agreed to help with their activities. School Climate Change Education Gina is working to set up a meeting with Jen Cambra to work out details for our visit to her class. She asked that we present the Kill -A -Watt meter to her class. Because she does not have her class assistant this year, Jen has asked that we scale down our activities previously planned for her class. However, we may be doing some teaching in her meteorology class next semester. Joan suggested that we look into the Alliance for Climate Education (ACE) for our schools. They present a climate change information assembly for the entire school. Joan will send us their website to examine. Page 1 2 .1—
