Confirming next meeting The Meeting Minutes of March 27, 2012 were reviewed and approved as amended. (SRS moved to accept the minutes as Minutes amended -RP seconded, vote 4 -0 in favor) Revise RP The Meeting Minutes of May 1, 2012 were reviewed approved as amended. (RP moved to accept the minutes as amended -SRS seconded, vote 4 -0 in favor Members RHC needs to recruit new members. Current Officers will remain in their positions for now. VA and SRS presented the work from the Second BWC meeting Bylaw that was held on July 9, 2012. VA presented a flow chart prepared Working by the BWC committee (see Attached) Review VA/ Committee The work of the BWC will be presented to the Selectman on Draft SRS Updates August 7, 2012. If approved, the work will become part of the Town Warrant for the Fall meeting (August 30 deadline VA and others commented on the rumored sale of the Reading Post Office and the misconceptions about it's historic status being Post Office an impediment to any development of the building. Members Newspaper VA discussed a public outreach effort related to clarifying this issue. article RHC to conduct more public outreach efforts in the future. Town Record Laura Gemme requested a listing of the archival items in the RHC Copy Digitizing room in Town Hall. MC to produce a list from the RHC existing data base. RHC The RHC computer is old ( 2003 with 2G of memory) and will need Computer to be replaced. VA to accept on the behalf of the RHC the Vital Records bound RHC volumes from the Reading Public Library. Business Elena Dube has entered the data from the 1840 -1900 Valuation. RHC to put future data entry work on hold pending status of Town's Digitizing efforts. Treasure's At the end of the RHC fiscal year, $204.23 was returned to the Report Town. Next Meeting Wednesday August 1, 2012 at 7:30 pm Referenced Documents Demolition Delay Bylaw- Process Flow Charts Copies of referenced correspondence and documents are kept in Meeting Minutes binder and relevant project folders located in the Reading Historical Commission Archives, lower level of the Reading Town Hall.
