HomeMy WebLinkAbout2011-09-06 Board of Selectmen Minutes - Executive Session ' Board of Selectmen Meeting Executive Session September 6,2011 For ease of archiving, the order that items appear in these minutes reflects the order in which the items appeared on the agenda for that meeting, and are not necessarily the order in which any item was taken up by the Board. The Executive Session convened at 7:05 p.m. in the Conference Room, 16 Lowell Street, Reading, Massachusetts. Present were Chairman Camille Anthony, Vice Chairman Stephen Goldy, Secretary Ben Tafoya, Selectman James Bonazoli, Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner, Assistant Town Manager/Finance Director Bob LeLachem, Office Manager Paula Schena,and Town Counsel Ellen Doucette. Litigation — 45 Beacon Street — Request for Extension of Comprehensive Permit — Town Counsel Ellen Doucette noted that the neighbors appealed the comprehensive permit. Time ran out during appeal process. Mr. Salamone came in with bare bones plan and Glen Redmond denied it. The ZBA denied it. The Housing Appeals Committee suggests a one year extension. Each time we appeal it, it starts tolling the permit and the three years begin again. If the ZBA denies the extension,then the Housing Appeal Committee will approve. The Board thanked Town Counsel for the update. A motion by Goldy seconded by Tafoya to adjourn the Executive Session at 7:25 p.m. was approved on a roll call vote with all four members voting in the affirmative. A ul ubmitted,
