January 7, 2013, Reading Public Library, Large Conference Room 21113 - 46 The meeting was called to order at 7:32 P.M. Present were Peggy Caouette, Lynne Cassinari, Eileen Collins, Catherine Folan, Lorraine Hom, Colleen O'Shaughnessy, Nancy Snow, Jacalyn Shelton Wallace. Treasurer's Report was presented and approved. Peggy Caouette reported that all necessary paper work for last year has been completed. She also distributed a sheet showing the grants for the 2012 -2013 projects and their anticipated completion dates. The minutes of the December 3, 2012 meeting were amended and approved to reflect $220 not $200 for grant # 13 -16 Colonial Chorus Players. Those minutes will also include the nine non - approved grants and the reason for their being denied. Old Business Lynrre Cassinari reported that she sent out the Disapproval Letters on December 20, 2012 and the Approval Letters on January 7, 2013. The Massachusetts Cultural Council statewide meeting will be held February 19, 2013. Attendance there will be in lieu of a RCC meeting that month. The Annual Report is being completed by Jacalyn Shelton Wallace. Nancy Snow volunteered to research possible promotional supplies that RCC can afford to distribute. The March 4 meeting will be in the Large Conference Room and the April in the Small Conference Room. Action Items Members should volunteer to attend RCC supported performances to show support. Lynne Cassinari will ask the MCC if there is an evaluation form RCC could use. She will also contact department heads at the high school to encourage student participation in The Marble Collection. Sbould RCC host a reception for grantees this year? RCC will need a new Chairperson and Treasurer this year so think about assuming one of those posts. Eileen Collins will submit notices of approved grants to the two local papers and the Patch and start a scrapbook for RCC. The meeting adjourned at 8:20 P.M.
