HomeMy WebLinkAbout2012-06-05 Historical Commission MinutesReadinq Historical Commission Meeting Minutes: June 5, 2012 Called to order: 7:00 pm Meeting Location: Down Stairs Conference Room Roberta Sullivan RS Treasurer Present Robin Parker RP Absent Mark Cardono MC Chair Present Virginia Adams A Associate Present Sharlene Reynolds Santo SRS Present Nancy Kohl (NK) Associate Present Others in Attendance: Jack Devir Subject Discussion Action Follow Items up Visitor RHC explained Demolition Delay Bylaw to resident, Jack Devir. 7.2.3.6 Determination of Significant Structure: Once the public Demolition hearing is closed a motion shall be made to determine if the loss of Delay Bylaw the significant structure would be detrimental to the town. An affirmative vote by RHC will declare structure preferably preserved Revisions and hence protected by the bylaw. RHC discussed additional revisions. Members: Rick Schubert & John Areana (Bd. Selectmen) Bylaw Phil Pacino (By law Com) Sharlene & Virginia (RHC) Elaine Working Webb & Erin Calvo -Bacci (public). Group discussed the Group current Process. Next committee meeting scheduled for June 12t . Virginia reported that she was working with a high school student regarding the "Jenny" gravesite at Laurel Hill. Open Session Roberta reported a contact with person representing the late Bill Canfield who wished to leave papers to the archives. Virginia attended recent DRT meeting regarding the St. Athanasius church.
