Move that the Board of Selectmen adjourn the meeting at _ p.m. March 26, 2013 Dear Reading Realtor: Attached is a copy of a press release regarding a residential property that the Town is offering for sale. This is a public bid process, which is fairly tightly regulated by State Statute. We are not able to offer a commission to a broker for bringing in a successful bidder, and I know that commissions are how realtors make their living. However we are sending this to Reading realtors in addition to other advertising and publicity, in the event that one of your clients might be interested in this property — they might have a home that they will need to sell, and that could generate a commission. I would appreciate it if you would circulate this among the brokers in your office, and hope that through this and other means we will be able to sell this property and get it back on the tax rolls, and get the money into the Town's hands to be used for ongoing improvements to the community. Thanks for your assistance. Sincerely, Peter I.
