The meeting was called to order at 7:09 A.M. Minutes from the March 28, 2001 meeting were signed by the board members. Minutes from the April 25, 2001 meeting were read and accepted. Approved new membership: Mark Hyson Recreation Administrator 4/30/01 9% Christian Schuettner Laborer -DPW 5/14/01 9% Approved refunds /transfers: Sharon Creamer worked for the RMLD for 7 years and 11 months and resigned as of 5/11 /01. Total deductions and interest $21,665.71 (less 50% interest $706.93) Federal Income taxes withheld $4,191.76 Net Refund $16,767.02 Paul Merenda worked for the School Dept. for 3 years and 3 months and resigned as of 2/23/01. Total deductions and interest $8,793.81 (less 100% interest $248.43) Federal Income taxes withheld $1,709.08 Net Refund $6,836.30 Approved retirement application and calculation for: Margaret K. A letter was sent to the Middlesex Board requesting they accept liability for this time. They sent a response on May 22, 2001 stating they do not accept liability for non - contributing employment service of non - members. The Board requested that more information be gathered for the next meeting. Retiree Herbert McSheehy passed away on April 27, 2001. His accidental disability was due to cervical disc disease (back injury). His death certificate states his cause of death was Non - Hodgkins Lymphoma. The board members voted that his cause of death was unrelated to his disability and approved that his spouse, Norma McSheehy, receive a Section 101 benefit of $500.00 per month/$6,000 per year starting with the May 31, 2001 check. 754 755 Hearings are being held on May 30, 2001 at Ipm and 2:30pm at the Division of Administrative Law Appeals regarding the group classification for Field Technicians Donald Waters and Frederick Jackson.
