approved as submitted on a vote of 4:0.
Supt. Fletcher made a presentation to the Board with the use of a
s

gave a brief overview of where materials would be located. In the matter
of location, Chairman Barker read a memo prepared April Sth authorizing

EL as required, memo follows as a part of the minutes.

The Chairman, after a concensus of the Board, instructed the
Superintendent to write TASC a letter that we have no abandoned fuel tanks
on the site. #
Supt. Fletcher read a proposed letter of appreciation to Waste
F
Management and requested permission to send the letter. The concensus of ¢'
the Board was that the letter was acceptable and should be sent out over
the Boards' signature. Supt. Fletcher brought to the attention of the
Board that there was a side letter agreement with TASC and the Selectmen
that the septage disposal manhole on the property would have to be used
until such time as new facilities were constructed. It was originally
i
proposed that this construction would take place on the property of the
new public works facility at the landfill site. It was voted that
possibly the Town would not vote to put Public Works on that property and
therefore a septage disposal area would be unacceptable were the property
to be used for offices.
Based on that information, the Board advised that staff make no
further effort to install a septage disposal manhole on that site and
await further direction.
The meeting adjourned at 7:32 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Secre7tye
