A meeting of the Board of Public Works convened in doom 1229
Reading Memorial High School at 7:00 P.M. Present were Chairman Barker,
Secretary Hampson, Board Member Griffin and Superintendent A.V. Fletcher,
P. E.
It was moved, seconded and voted 3:0 to accept the minutes of the
Board of Public Works Meeting of November 4, 1985 as written.
The Board signed the Payroll and the Billroll for the period
ending November 8, 1985.
It was moved, seconded and voted 3:0 that Sheet No. 16, Bill No.
19 for a 100% lateral for Francis O'Keefe, Plat 81 Lot 9, 32 Summer
Avenue, dated November 12, 1985 in the amount of $320.00 be committed to
the Tax Collector and betterments assessed accordingly.
Present were Gill Bergeron and Ed Callan and members of Mr.
Callans staff.
Chairman Barker opened the meeting and due to time constraints,
requested that Mr. Callan give his presentation.
Mr. Bergeron introduced Mr. Callan and gave a short presentation
on the reasons why they were here, which was the discussion of connecting
the water loop through property off West Street commonly called the
poultry farm.
Mr. Callan gave a slide presentation of the Wakefield Office Park
under construction by his firm to point out that he planned on building a
duplicate on the land in Woburn abutted by the poultry farm on Route 93.
A general discussion ensued after the presentation.
At 725 P.M. Chairman Barker advised Mr. Callan that the Board
would consider his request after determining other Town considerations.
The meeting adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
