MEETING CONVENED AT 7:00 P.M.

1. APPOINTMENTS: - NONE NOTED.
2. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING /S:
OCTOBER 25,2011 - APPROVED 3 -0 AS READ
3. TOWN APPRAISER'S REPORT:
MR. BOATWRIGHT REVIEWED HIS PRESENTATION WITH
THE BOARD WHICH HE IS SCHEDULED TO PRESENT AT THE
NOVEMBER 8TH CLASSIFICATION HEARING.
MR. BOATWRIGHT BRIEFED THE BOARD ON HIS
FRUSTRATION IN GETTING `GOOD & MEANINGFUL"
INFORMATION FROM THE OWNER OF THE 20 -48 WALKERS
BROOK DRIVE PROPERTY (THE SO- CALLED DICKENSON
PROPERTY).
MR. BOATWRIGHT BRIEFED THE BOARD ON THE DENIAL
NOTICE SENT TO THE READING OVERSEAS VETERANS BY
THE MASS DOR. THE NOTIFICATION RECEIVED FROM THE
STATE NOTED THAT THE READING OVERSEAS VETERANS
HAD FAILED TO PROVIDE THE DOR WITH CERTAIN
INFORMATION WITHIN THE 30 DAY EXTENSION PERIOD
WHICH HAD BEEN OFFERED BY THE DOR.

4. SIGNINGS: -WERE COMPLETED.
5. NEW BUSINESS: -
THERE WAS EXTENSIVE DISCUSSION REGARDING THE
DOLLAR AMOUNT OF THE OVERLAY ACCOUNT.
6. GENERAL BUSINESS: - NONE NOTED.
7. CORRESPONDENCE: -
MR. BOATWRIGHT SHARED AN E -MAIL MESSAGE FROM A
TOWN RESIDENT PROPOSING A SPLIT TAX RATE.
THE BOARD REVIEWED A DRAFT OF A LETTER AND
SUBSEQUENTLY SIGNED A LETTER TO THE TOWN
MANAGER REGARDING AMENDING THE DOLLAR AMOUNT
OF THE FY2012 OVERLAY ACCOUNT.
