<br />In the name of the Commonwealth of Massa-
<br />chusetts you are hereby required to notif and
<br />warn the inhabitants of the Totvn of Reayding, vote to a meet in Secur tyelHall,n Wobu nowStreet, in
<br />said Reading on
<br />MONDAY, THE FIFTEENTH DAY OF
<br />NOVEMBER, A. D., 1937
<br />at 7:45 o'clock in the evening, to act on the fol-
<br />lowing articles:
<br />Article 1. To hear and act on the reports of
<br />Town Officers and special committees, to
<br />choose all necessary. special committees, and
<br />determine what instructions will be given
<br />Town Officers and special committees.
<br />Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to
<br />authorize the Selectmen to sell on such terms
<br />and conditions as they may determine, any and
<br />all real estate now or hereafter acquired by the
<br />Town for taxes, wherein such title has been
<br />duly perfected as provided by law, and to
<br />sign, seal, acknowledge and deliver in the name
<br />and behalf of the Town deeds and such other
<br />instruments which may be necessary convey-
<br />ing such property to the purchasers thereof,
<br />or what it will do in relation thereto.

<br />additional appropriations for Public Welfare,
<br />including Aid, Board and Care, and Old Age
<br />Assistance, and for W. P. A. expenses, in.
<br />cluding, Administrative, Truck Hire, Equip-
<br />ment, and Materials, and determine how-

<br />money shall be raised by borrowing or other-
<br />wise, or what it will do in relation thereto.

<br />Account, or what it will do in relation thereto.

<br />for medical attendance and care occasioned by

<br />owned by. the Town and the site of the F

<br />cipal Garage, located on the Southwesterly
<br />side of John Street, under the control and
<br />supervision of the Board of Public Works, or
<br />what it will do in relation thereto.

<br />Works upon the laying out as a public high-
<br />way of a private way known as Sylvan Road,
<br />under the provisions of law authorizing the
<br />assessment of betterments, such highway being
<br />laid out in accordance with plan duly approved
<br />by the Board of Survey and filed in the of-
<br />fice of the Town Clerk in accordance with
<br />the statutory requirements, and to see if
<br />the Town will accept the public way laid out
<br />by the Board of Public Works as Sylvan
<br />Road, and to see what sum the Town will
<br />vote to appropriate from available funds and
<br />transfer for the construction of said way, or
<br />what it will do in relation thereto.

<br />Article No. 12. To see if the Town will
<br />vote to accept the report of the Board of
<br />Public Works upon the laying out as a pub-
<br />lie highway of a private way known as Oak
<br />Ridge Road, under the provisions of law au-
<br />thorizing the assessment of betterments, such
<br />highway being laid out in accordance with
<br />plan duly approved by the Board of Survey
<br />and filed in the office of the Town Clerk in
<br />accordance with the statutory requirements,
<br />and to see if the Town will accept the public
<br />way laid out by the Board of Public Works
<br />as Oak Ridge Road, and to see what sum
<br />the Town will vote to appropriate from avail-
<br />able funds and transfer for the construction
<br />of said way, or what it will do in relation
<br />thereto.

<br />Article No. 13 To see if the Town will vote
<br />to accept the report of the Board of Public
<br />Works upon the laying out as a public highway
<br />of a private way known as Pine Ridge Road,
<br />under the provisions of law authorizing the as-
<br />sessment of betterments, such highway being
<br />laid out in accordance with plan duly approved
<br />by the Board of Survey and filed in the office
<br />of the Town Clerk in accordance with the
<br />statutory requirements, and to see if the Town
<br />will accept the public way laid out by the
<br />Board of Public Works as Pine Ridge Road,
<br />and to see what sum the Town will vote to
<br />appropriate from available funds and trans-
<br />fer for the construction of said way, or what
<br />it will do in relation thereto.
<br />Board of Public Works.
<br />Article 14. To see if the Town will authorize
<br />and empower' the Board of Public Works to
<br />enter into an agreement with the Meadow
<br />Brook Golf Club Corporation upon such terms
<br />and conditions as they may determine, relating
<br />to the abandonment and termination of an
<br />easement taken by the Town through the
<br />Club's property for the purpose of gaining ac-
<br />cess to sand and gravel, and to further au-
<br />thorize and empower said Board of Public
<br />Works to execute in the name and behalf of
<br />the Town such agreement, or what it will do
<br />in relation thereto.

<br />And you are directed to serve this warrant
<br />by posting-an attested copy thereof in at-least ten public places in the town not less than
<br />seven days prior to November 15, 1937, the
<br />date set for the meeting in said warrant, and
<br />to cause this warrant to be published in the
<br />Reading Chronicle, one day at least prior to the
<br />said date.
<br />Hereof fail not-and make due return of this
<br />warrant with your doings thereon to the
<br />Town Clerk at or before the time appointed
<br />for said meeting.
