Reading Town Hall, Berger Room,and 16 <br /> Lowell Street, Reading, Massachusetts Chairman James J.Nugent,Nancy Carlson, <br /> Colleen Henessey—Seferian and staff liaison Jane Fiore,Health Services Administrator <br /> were present. <br /> The minutes of the February 8,2001 were read. Colleen Seferian made a motion to <br /> accept the minutes as read. The motion was seconded by Nancy Carlson and approved - <br /> vote: 3:0:0. <br /> Next order of business: <br /> • Review of operating guidelines. Continued adjustments made. Tabled until April <br /> meeting for continued review. <br /> ' • 6:15 p.m. Public Hearing on Body Art regulations was called to order <br /> 6:25 public hearing—motion to close public hearing made by Nancy Carlson <br /> seconded by Colleen Seferian vote 3:0:0 <br /> • Discussion regarding Body Art regulations began within the Board of Health. Section <br /> 23 Body Piercing regulations set on reserve 3:0:0 and replaced by Body Art <br /> Regulations Section 23 motion made by Nancy Carlson and seconded by Colleen <br /> Seferian passed 3:0:0. Effective immediately. <br /> • Administrative update <br /> • Sealer of Weights and measures continues to recuperate from his fall. Substitute <br /> sealer Robert Rose is managing Reading's vital issues. <br /> • Public Health Nurse has a student intern Heidi Pfeiffer, RN from Emmanuel <br /> College working on her Community Health Practicum for one semester. <br /> • Plan review Discussion regarding opening with Finagle—a Bagel,Pucci Market, <br /> Landfill closure discussion regarding closure timetable and method.Need engineering <br /> firm at Board meeting in April. Next issue is Texaco Station at Walkers Brook Drive <br /> —previous oil/gasoline spills,design of building and use of convivent store and <br /> placement of Dumpster. <br /> • Meningitis Prevention clinic for high school seniors planned for May 8,2001.The <br /> High school administration has been very supportive.
