Reading Town Hall, Berger Room, and 16 <br /> Lowell Street, Reading, Massachusetts James J. Nugent, Jr., Nancy Carlson, Colleen <br /> Henessey— Seferian and staff liaison Jane Fiore, Health Services Administrator were <br /> present. <br /> The minutes of the June 14, 2001 were read. Colleen Seferian made a motion to the <br /> minutes note with correction in paragraph 2 noted. The motion was seconded by Nancy <br /> Carlson and approved -vote: 3:0:0. <br /> Next order of business: <br /> 0 The Board was given an update on West Nile Virus update on mosquito traps and <br /> crow pick—up for laboratory examination with the result of 7 positive 7 crows with <br /> WNV. After the September 11 tragedy the Board voted 3:0:0 note to truck spray for <br /> mosquitoes noted a high level at the Timberneck swamp tramps. No mosquitoes have <br /> been positive for WNV. Only an elevated number. <br /> 0 Discussion regarding the closure and development of the landfill. <br /> Migration of and control methane gas and cover of the land life and process used burn <br /> —off with emergency gauges, fill clean and tested before and after for heavy metals, <br /> storm water will be addressed in the C AAA application to DEP to be filed in August <br /> and accepted by DEP. Letter of agreement form the BOH signed and part of the <br /> package <br /> 0 Review of development projects. <br /> • Administrative update : <br /> • Mercury thermometer exchange program going well 88 thermometers exchanges <br /> • Update to the board on multiple housing issues. <br /> • Questions were brought to the BOH regarding the increase in pigeon droppings <br /> under the 128 Bridge on West/Washington St. The Board recommended calling <br /> Sen. and state reps. <br /> New Business <br /> Reorganization of Board: James J. Nugent, Chairman 2:1:0 <br />
