BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING E C # l <br />MINUTES OWN CLERK <br />May 6, 2008 RE a211NG, MASS. <br />The Board of Health meeting was called to order on May 6, 2008 at 00n ~O A 10 2 2 <br />Chairman Barbara Meade at the Berger Room, Town Hall. Those present at the meeting <br />were Barbara Meade Chair, and Colleen Seferian. Dr. David Singer excused. <br />In attendance: Ali Akbar, Anthony Seacatore, ; Frank Seacatore, Margret Secatore, <br />Michael DeMild, Luke Beaulieu, Margret Beaulieu, and Larry Ramdin, Staff Liaison/ <br />Health Services Administrator. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Minutes of April 15, 2008 were read and approved 2:0:0 <br />License Approvals <br />Gulf Express 85 Main Street <br />Gulf Express, 85 Main Street, Ali Akbar owner. Ownership changed without advising the <br />BOH, since licenses are not transferable, the business was ordered to cease sales of Food <br />and Tobacco, until license is granted. Mr. Akbar has met the requirements and the Health <br />Division recommended granting the license application. There are two (2) outstanding <br />issues: <br />1. A pipe is draining into the 3 bay sink from the ceiling and <br />2. There is no hand washing sink in the ware-washing area. <br />The application was approved 2:0:0 and a 30 day condition for correcting the outstanding <br />violations was imposed, failure to comply with the order will result in suspension of the <br />permit to sell food. <br />Londi's Roast Beef <br />Anthony Seacatore applied for a new permit for Londi's Roast Beef. Mr. Seacatore, is <br />purchasing Londi's Roast Beef, his sister is signed up for a Certified Food Manager <br />permit. There will be no equipment or menu changes. at the establishment. <br />The. Board approved the application pending final review and approval by the Health <br />Division. <br />Visit by Scouts <br />Luke Beaulieu and Mike Demild, Scouts working on communications merit badges <br />were in attendance. They chose the Board of Health meeting because it was at a <br />convenient time. The scouts asked questions on the role of the Board and the Health <br />Division, and observed the meeting. They expressed their thanks to the Board. <br />
