Minutes - Conservation Commission - EXECUTIVE SESSION - July 18, 2001 <br />2001 CtC <br />}n theConservation Commission <br />A <br />ECUTIVE SESSION <br />a D Town of Reading <br />%elect 6i 0Meeting Room - Town Hall <br />Wednesday, July 18, 2001-11:10 pm <br />Present: Nancy Eaton, Chair, Will Finch, Douglas Greene, and Patricia Lloyd, <br />Commissioners, Leo Kenney, Consultant and Conservation Administrator Fran Fink <br />Commission voted to go into Executive Session on roll call vote, not to return to open <br />session to discuss DEP settlement meeting for the proposed elementary school site <br />project between Sunset Rock/Roma Lane, Dividence Road/ Fox Run Lane and the Town <br />Forest. Appellant Mola and counsel showed up without their engineer. Town <br />representatives included Leigh Gilligan, Gadsby and Hannah, representing the Town, Dr. <br />Harry Harutunian, Superintendent of Schools, Sidney Bowen, architect, several <br />consultants, and from the Commission Eaton, Greene, Finch and Fran Fink, <br />Administrator. <br />All present discussed project history and environmental concerns, water budget, site <br />access and vegetation removal. DEP attorney told them the project met the standards and <br />appellant would probably lose, recommending they take what modifications could be <br />negotiated. The Town was encouraged to offer mitigation to prevent the process from <br />dragging out. DEP asked applicant to specify what it is they want. Eaton will meet with <br />the group again next week in the Administrator's absence to continue settlement <br />discussions. Any member who is available and interested in attending should let her <br />know so she can let them know the time and location. <br />Will Finch moved and Patricia Lloyd seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting from <br />Executive Session at 11:15 pm. Vote: Patricia Lloyd: Yes; Douglas Greene: Yes; <br />Nancy Eaton: Yes and William Finch: Yes. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Nancy L. Eaton, Chair <br />
