SUBSEQUENT TOWN MEETING <br />Reading Memorial High School <br />Performing Arts Center <br />November 14, 2022 <br />The meeting was called to order by the Moderator, Alan E. Foulds, at 7:35 PM, there being a quorum present. <br />The Invocation was given by Linda Snow Dockser, Precinct 1 followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag. The Constables return of the Warrant was read by the Town Clerk. <br />Motion made by Mark Dockser, Select Board to dispense of the reading of the warrant and all motions in <br />their entirety. <br />Motion Carried <br />ARTICLE 1: Motion made by the Select Board to Table Article 1 <br />Motion Carried to Table <br />ARTICLE 2: Motion made by the Select Board to Table Article 2 <br />Motion Carried to Table <br />Motion made by Mark Dockser that Article 19 be taken out of order <br />Motion Carried <br />ARTICLE 19: Motion made by the Select Board to indefinitely postpone Article 19. The Select Board <br />is negotiating with the property owner. The Select Board intends to call a Special Town Meeting to review <br />this article, when it is appropriate to do so. <br />Presentation given by: <br />Mark Dockser - See Attached <br />After some discussion a vote was taken <br />Motion to Indefinitely Postpone Carried <br />ARTICLE 3: Motion made by the Select Board that the Town amend the FY 2023-33 Capital <br />Improvements Program as provided for in Section 7-7 of the Reading Home Rule Charter and as previously <br />amended, by making these changes: <br />General Fund <br />FY23: +$405,000 net changes <br />+$ 80,000 Firearms replacement <br />+$ 60,000 Sturges Park tennis & basketball courts <br />+$ 65,000 Fire passenger car #1 (moved from FY24 increased from $50k to $65k) <br />1 1 P a g e <br />
