ANNUAL TUWN MEETING <br />Virtual Town Meeting April 26, 2021 <br />via Zoom Webinar <br />Each Precinct met via Zoom Webinar on date and time listed with each Precinct's notes below. During each <br />Precinct meeting a presentation was given on the process of how a virtual Town Meeting was going to be <br />conducted. Each Precinct conducted the following business: <br />Precinct 1 — Met Friday, April 23rd at 5:45 PM. With a Quorum present elected Roy Benjamin as Precinct <br />Chair and Paula Perry as Precinct Clerk. A vote was taken to appoint Sheilah Reichardt to fill a vacancy. <br />Precinct 2 — Met Friday, April 23m at 6:30 PM. With a Quorum present elected Anthony D'Arezzo as Precinct <br />Chair and Susan Craven as Precinct Clerk. <br />Precinct 3 — Met Friday, April 23'd at 7:15 PM. With a Quorum present elected John D Breslin as Precinct <br />Chair and Jason Clarke as Precinct Clerk. <br />Precinct 4 — Met Friday, April 230 at 8:00 PM. With a Quorum present elected Mary Ellen O'Neill as Precinct <br />Chair and Eric Gaffen as Precinct Clerk. <br />Precinct 5 — Met Wednesday, April 21� at 5:45 PM. With a Quorum present elected Edward J Ross as <br />Precinct Chair and Angela Binda as Precinct Clerk. <br />Precinct 6 — Met Wednesday, April 211t at 6:30 PM. With a Quorum present elected Etain O'Dea as Precinct <br />Chair and Joseph Carnahan as Precinct Clerk. <br />Precinct 7 — Met Wednesday, April 21n at 7:15 PM. With a Quorum present elected Jennifer Hillery as <br />Precinct Chair and Jeffrey W Struble as Precinct Clerk. <br />Precinct 8 — Met Wednesday, April 21n at 8:00 PM. With a Quorum present elected Shawn Brandt as <br />Precinct Chair and a Precinct Clerk was elected as well. <br />As this was the third Virtual Town Meeting in the history of the Town of Reading a mock Town Meeting was <br />conducted on Monday, April 26th at 6:00 PM as a practice session for all Town Meeting Members and Staff. <br />The Moderator walked through the process of a Virtual Town Meeting. <br />All new and reelected Town Meeting members along with the Assistant Moderator were sworn in by the <br />Moderator. <br />The Moderator appointed an Assistant Moderator to help with anyone who wanted to attend in person at the <br />Performing Arts Center at Reading Memorial High School. Stephen Crook acted as Moderator with one Town <br />Meeting Member present. <br />The meeting was called to order by the Moderator, Alan E. Foulds, at 7:30 PM, there being a quorum present. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said by all, followed by the invocation given by Philip Pacino, Precinct 5. <br />Stephen Crook was sworn in as Assistant Moderator. The Constables return of the Warrant was read by the <br />Town Clerk. <br />Town Moderator Opening Remarks: <br />Good evening fellow Readingites, <br />Before we begin I have a few announcements: <br />For the third time we are meeting remotely, and with a little luck, it might be the last.
