Deers nap <br /> Const,ble of Reading <br /> Special Town fleeting January 30, 1956 <br /> Piew High School Auditorium <br /> In the absence of the Moderator, the Town Clerk, Boyd H. <br /> Stewart, called the meeting to order at 8:00 P. M. and asked for <br /> nominations for a temporary moderator at this meeting. <br /> Kenneth C . Latham moved that Samuel H. Davis be elected to act <br /> as temporary moderator at this meeting. <br /> On motion of Kenneth C. Latham it was voted that the nominations <br /> be closed. <br /> .g, On motion of Kenneth C . Latham it was voted that the Town Clerk <br /> be instructed to cast one ballot for Samuel H. Davis for Moderator <br /> to act at this meeting. <br /> The Town Clerk then cast one ballot for Mr. Davis to act as <br /> temporary moderator, and declared him elected. <br /> Mr. Davis was then sworn in, by the Town Clerk, as temporary <br /> Moderator. <br /> The warrant was partially read by the Town Clerk when, on motion <br /> of Kenneth C. Latham, it was voted to dispense with further reading <br /> of the warrant except the Constable' s Return which was then read by <br /> the Town Clerk. <br /> ARTICLE 1. On motion of Kenneth C. Lathem it was voted that the <br /> Board of Selectmen be and they hereby are instructed to proceed <br /> with the terms of the Vote adopted under Article 10 at the Annual <br /> Town I:feeting held March 20, 1950 relating to the disposition by <br /> sale, demolition or otherwise of the Center School Building together <br /> with the lot of land containing approximately 10,000 square feet. <br /> 0motion of Kenneth C .
