Singer made motion to accept, seconded <br />by Meade. Approved 2:0 <br />Draft Drug Paraphernalia Regulation <br />The regulation was reviewed. There were no changes in wording from the present <br />regulation to remain consistent with Melrose and Wakefield. Town Counsel reviewed the <br />revised version of the regulation and offered adding the following language to Section <br />3.5(4): and Article 1, Section 1.8 of the Reading General Bylaws. The enforcing persons <br />shall be the Health Agent and the Police Department. Meade made a motion to accept <br />Section 3: Board of Health Regulation Prohibiting the Sale of Drug Paraphernalia with added <br />language, seconded by Singer. Approved 2:0 <br />Oye's <br />On November 20, 2013, Health Inspector, David Greenbaum performed an inspection. <br />Overall there was shown improvement; however, repeated violations were noted. Next <br />inspection will be performed in January, 2014. <br />Other business and Items not reasonably anticipated at the time of posting: <br />Clay had received letter from Town Clerk, Laura Gemme regarding review of the Home Rule <br />Charter. She advised that proposed changes did not apply to Board of Health. <br />There will be no December Board of Health meeting unless something has to be put on the <br />Agenda. Next scheduled meeting is January 16, 2014. <br />Meeting adjourned at 6:30 pm. <br />Page I 1 <br />
