RECEIVED <br />TOWN CLERK <br />BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING READING, MASS. <br />MINUTES 2916 FEB 12 P I. Ob <br />September 15, 2011 <br />The Board of Health (BOH) meeting was called to order on September 15, 2011 at 5:37 <br />pm in the Berger Room, Town Hall, by Barbara Meade, Chair. Those present at the <br />meeting were Dr. David Singer, Andrew Friedmann and Greg Erickson, Interim Health <br />Administrator. <br />In attendance: Darlene Foley. <br />Minutes <br />The minutes of August 11, 2011, were read and accepted 3:0:0. <br />The minutes of May 26, 2010 Executive Session were read and accepted 2:0:1, <br />Andrew Friedmann abstained. <br />Old Business <br />Grumpy Doyles —A routine inspection was performed on September 14, 2011 by Health <br />Inspector, Joan Vitale. $50 fines were issued for four critical violations found within the <br />bar area. It was also noted that previous fines totaling $175 issued in March, 2011 were <br />still outstanding. This will be followed up by the Health Director. <br />Other Business <br />Greg Erickson advised that some of the present Board of Health regulations have become <br />outdated and should be reviewed for accuracy. He will provide mark ups for the Board to <br />review. <br />The Board was advised of the number of fines that had been issued in the past and remain <br />outstanding. The health director will develop a system to monitor the payment of fines. <br />Dates for the adult flu clinics were provided; October 5", 24 at Killam School and <br />October 22nd, 10 -1 at Coolidge Middle School. <br />There being no other business the Board voted to adjourn with a 3:0:0 vote. Meeting <br />adjourned at 7:10 pm. The next scheduled meeting will be held on October 13, 2011. <br />
