I <br />I <br />READING PUBLIC SCHOOLS <br />Reading, Massachusetts <br />REGULAR SESSION MINUTES FEBRUARY 5, 1990 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Stan Nissen called the regular meeting of the Reading <br />School Committee to order at 7:08 p.m. in the Superintendent's <br />Conference Room, at 82 Oakland Road. All members were present <br />with the exception of Margaret Cowell and Mary Williams. Also <br />present were Superintendent Dr. Robert J. Munnelly, Assistant <br />Superintendent Lynn M. Dr. Munnelly <br />responded that a handbook has been developed and will changes be <br />shared with School Committee next week. <br />SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT <br />Dr. Munnelly complimented Sue Wheltle who was named Director of <br />the Year by the Massachusetts Director of Art Association. She <br />was cited for the quality of art in Reading, and for her contri- <br />bution to such statewide endeavors as Art All State, serving on <br />the Massachusetts Council for the Arts, and for numerous efforts <br />to enhance the arts statewide. <br />
