Minutes of the Board of Selectmen Executive Session May 12, 1992 The meeting convened at 11:32 p.m. in the Conference Room, Town Hall, 16 Lowell Street, Reading, MA. Present were Chairman Eugene Nigro, Vice Chairman Dan Ensminger, Secretary Sally Hoyt, Selectmen George Hines and Bill Burditt and Town Manager Peter Hechenbleikner. On motion by Ensminger seconded by Hines the Minutes of April 7, 1992 were approved by a vote of 5-0-0. The Town Manager discussed the negotiations on Police Officers, Police Superior Officers and Department of Public Works employees. The Board agreed that elimination of bouncing was ap- propriate and directed the Town Manager to proceed on that basis. The Board discussed the RESCO litigation, and the Board agreed to support the appeal of the judge's decision, and the Town Manager is to use his discretion based on the advice of counsel as to when and whether additional payment to RESCO should be made. On motion by Ensminger seconded by Burditt the Board voted to ad- journ the Executive Session at 11: 56 p.m. All five members present voted in the affirmative and the motion was carried. r -; Respectfully submitted: Secret y r
