Committee Member, Chris Campbell, Rec. Committee <br />Member, Eric Hughes, Rec. Committee Member, Kate Kaminer, Rec. Committee Member, John <br />Feudo, Recreation Administrator <br />M. Stolecki called the meeting to order at 7:07 PM. <br />C. Campbell made a motion to accept the minutes from the April 12th Rec. Committee meeting. K. <br />Kaminer seconded the motion. Motion passed in favor of accepting the minutes for April 12th by a <br />vote of 6 - 0- 0. <br />Amplified Sound Permit Update: <br />J. Feudo and M. Stolecki updated the Recreation Committee on the amplified sound permit <br />discussion. J. Feudo stated he met with Selectmen Shubert, Town Manager and Chief of Police on <br />May 3rd. There was some concern/question regarding the relationship between the Reading <br />Baseball Club, as 501 c3 organization and the Reading Bulldogs and legal liability company. J. <br />Feudo was asked to meet with Mr. Halsey to identify and discuss those relationships. <br />J. Feudo met extensively with Mr. Halsey the following day. They discussed the relationships of <br />the baseball organization. J. Feudo stated he was satisfied with the responses Mr. Halsey gave and <br />his honesty. <br />Mr. Halsey will next meet with the Town Manager, Recreation Administrator, BOS/Rec. <br />Committee Liaison Bonazoli and BOS Shubert on May 18th to discuss the future of the Bulldogs <br />program. <br />The Recreation Committee expressed their concern of jurisdiction and policy interpretation. J. <br />Feudo stated there is limited outcomes for this meeting as this group can only serve as a <br />recommending group to the BOS as a whole. <br />Portable Restrooms: <br />J. Feudo stated the topic of restrooms is becoming bigger and bigger each year at the Birch Meadow <br />Complex. With the understanding that there is already a master plan in place for the Birch Meadow <br />Complex that includes as bathroom facility, there is a pressing need for something in the short term. <br />
