Sturn <br />C . _ ,Keller <br />Reviewed nonoverlay district boundaries on new maps #1 <br />through 21, including proposed adjustments of boundary lines to <br />conform to lot lines, center of streets or center of railroad <br />tracks wherever possible. <br />Reviewed text of amendment-.aq conrain:ed in memo dated 6"/19/78 <br />Draft #lA including provisions for new Zoning Mapand renaming <br />residence districts. <br />Urban Redevelo ment Corp. - Cedar Glen <br />A letter from McNeil and Associates received requesting that <br />the Board re-open the Public Hearing on Cedar Glen Project, ori- <br />ginally held in April 1978, so they could more fully address the <br />issue of "open blighted". The Board- voted unanimously-to. so re- <br />open the hearing, conditional upon Town Counsel's opinion that <br />we can legally do so. September 7, 1978 was selected as the'_ <br />date of the hearing and Mr. Mayerson was authorized to make ne- <br />cessary arrangements. <br />Mandatory Referral <br />Draft 1, dated 7/10/78, discussed by the Board. Draft was <br />tabled until the next meeting for further discussion and a review <br />of a statement of our overall intent in ';;th.is dra f t,,_ to be prep I ared <br />by Mr. Mayerson. <br />Nonconforming Lots <br />Draft dated 7/18/78 reviewed. Section b of draft,.which,.con- <br />tains 80% of minimum lot requirement standard is debatable from <br />a legal point of view and perhaps "arbitrary". Board will discuss <br />further how to best cope with problems of lots held in common <br />ownership. <br />Board Proceedu.res <br />Members voted to continue indefinitely new proceedures with <br />regard to reporting of correspondence. <br />Potential Zoning Amendment - Salem St. <br />Mr. Mayerson reported on his contacts with the representa- <br />tives of the owner of_land on Salem St., which is being consider- <br />ed as the site for a nursing home, and the status of a proposed <br />zoning amendment which may be completed and submitted for con- <br />sideration of Town Meeting in -thefall.. <br />
