In order to meet
i..., the 4.5% reduction, the position of the Public Health Nurse was
1 eliminated and the Inspector's hours were reduced by 58 hours
over the year.
A discussion was held concerning the emphasis on smoking issues
by the state health department including model local by laws. It
was decided taht although it is a project that is worth pursuing,
there is insufficient staff time to work on this project at this
time.
The Director noted that she was the recipient of the MHOA's
President's Award for a third year in a row for service to the
organization.
The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
t t
Rutty e Cogan,
Director
