The Board of Health meeting came to order at 5:30 pm September 8, 1994 in the Berger Room of <br />Town Hall. Present at the meeting were William Murphy, Cathy Baranofsky, staff Ruth Cogan <br />and attorney Sheilah Griffin. <br />The minutes of June 9, 1994 were tabled as there was not a quorum of members fr i that <br />meeting present. <br />The minutes of August 10, 1994 were approved with the deletion of one sentence in paragraph 7. <br />and insertion of the date. <br />w <br />Planned Residential Development 59 Forest Street - The Board voted 2:0:0 to forward the <br />P° <br />following comments to the CPDC: w <br />1) The results of the deep hole test performed on lot C in June, 1994 is not noted on the plans <br />and therefore we cannot determine if the minimum cellar floor elevation is two feet above high <br />groundwater. <br />2) An evaluation of the property is to be performed by a licensed pest control operator for the <br />determination of the presence of rodents. A copy of that report as well as many mitigation <br />measures, if necessary, should also be sent to the Board of Health. <br />3) The existing license for four horses will need to be modified. The plans as shown do not meet <br />the minimum setback required for distances of fences to property line and barn to other houses. <br />Site Plan for Calareso property - The Board voted 2:0:0 to forward the following comments to <br />CPDC: <br />1) The proposed rubbish storage would be an improvement over the current situation as there <br />would be a compactor and the area would be screened. <br />2) The building will still need to go through the plan review process required by the State <br />Sanitary Code Chapter X before construction. The new building will need to meet the current <br />code (the existing building does not). <br />Planned Residential Development plans for Bear Hill Apartments - The Board voted 2:0:0 to <br />forward the following comments to CPDC: <br />1) An evaluation of the property is to be performed by a licensed pest control operator for the <br />determination of the presence of rodents before the destruction of any buildings and construction. <br />A copy of that report as well as any mitigation measures, if necessary, should also be sent to the <br />Board of Health. <br />2) Deep holes are to be done on every other building lot to determine minimum cellar floor <br />elevations. <br />
