Minutes <br />February 16, 1995 <br />The Board of Health meeting came to order at 5:30 pm in the Berger Room of Town Hall on <br />February 16, 1995. Present at the meeting were board members William Murphy, James Nugent <br />and Cathy Baranofsky and staff Ruth Cogan. <br />Minutes of January 12, 1995 were approved as presented 3:0:0. <br />Application for variance from state's plumbing code - Calareso's: Present for Calareso's was <br />Sheilah Griffin (Latham and Latham), Brad Latham (Latham and Latham), Joe Calareso III, and <br />Joe Mosgrove, a worker at Calareso's. Latham gave a presentation to the Board explaining the <br />request from a separate men's and women's room on each of the two levels to one unisex <br />handicap restroom on each level. The Board voted 3:0:0 on a motion by Nugent, seconded by <br />Baranofsky to recommend approval of the request to the state's Plumbing Board. The Board <br />signed a letter to that effect. <br />Planned Residential Development - 48 Mill Street: Latham gave a presentation on the <br />proposed 1PRD. Board voted 3:0:0 on a motion by Nugent, seconded by Murphy to recommend <br />the following conditions to the Community Planning and Development Commission: <br />• the water main should be looped to Mill Street <br />• all existing septic systems should be shown on the plans <br />• plans for trash removal should be submitted to the Board of Health for approval per <br />105.CMR490.601 <br />FY96 Budget: The budget the Town Manager will be giving to the Finance Committee. The <br />Board expressed frustration concerning the Town's funding of the Prevention Education <br />Coordinator and signed a letter to the Town Manager to that effect. <br />Definitive Subdivision - Anson Lane: A presentation was given by Michael Rosati of <br />Marchionda and Associates. Motion was made by Nugent, seconded by Baranofsky to approve <br />the subdivision with the following conditions: <br />• Deep holes are to be dug in the spring to determine high groundwater levels, witnessed by <br />an agent of the Board. <br />• Minimum cellar floor elevations are to be at least two feet above the high groundwater <br />levels and to be noted on the plans at the Registry of Deeds. <br />Update on Adult Immunization Clinics: Clay noted that they had just received a check from <br />Medicare for $1867 for the influenza shots given to Medicare recipients. All but one were <br />approved, no payment has been received yet for the pneumonia shots. Nugent suggested that the <br />Administrative Assistant keep track of her time next year to see what it costs the Town in salary <br />time to collect this revenue. <br />
