V
DRAFT
The meeting of the Board of Health came to order at 7:30 pm in the Conference Room of Town
Hall on November 21, 1995. Present at the meeting were members Cathy Baranofsky and Bill
Murphy and staff Ruth Clay.
Clay reviewed a draft of the FY97 budget, explaining any proposed increases. The Board also
discussed including a request for additional mosquito larvicide spraying for two areas.
Clay asked the Board about the times of the year for deep observation holes. Murphy noted that
the new Title V allows for deep observation holes by a licensed Soil Evaluator at any time of the
year; however, he felt we should reserve the right to wait until the spring if the high water levels
could not be determined by the soil morphology.
Clay discussed the idea of offering a tetanus clinic to the RMLD employees as they are at risk
doing fieldwork. The Board felt that it should also be offered to the Town's DPW workers as
they are also in the field. They agreed to keep the price at $l, the same as offered at the Adult
Immunization CJ nics. Clay will make the arrangements.
The Board went over the presentation to the Selectmen to be given that evening
Meeting adjourned at 8:00 pm.
'&C t
I
Ray, MPH
Director
