O'ice OF APPEALC <br />M! i. b jUNE 18, 1992 <br />Members Present: John aS a rem Acting Chairman <br />Stephen Tucker <br />Carol Scott <br />A meeting o the Zoning ;£?ard o Appeals was 1J.C-ld in the <br />Selectmen's Meeting Room o he Town Hall, 16 Lowell Street, <br />Reading, MA at 7:00 P.M. <br />The first Public Hearing was on the petition of John and Linda <br />t=abi_~e who were seeking a Variance under' Section 5.1.2, Table <br />of Dimensional Dimensional Controls, ?adin Zoning '°/~1~_.L F^'se in order to <br />legalize an ~.t,b existing structure which is tVo cl ose to the side <br />to t line on property located at 38 Harvard Street, Reading, <br />MA. <br />Y <br /><ro Ja:rema asked M Babine if he had a Certified Plot Plan <br />Mr. gab € e stated that he had Sr.7F:1mit'Ced ? mortgage survey plan. <br />'-irm Ja?"jema explained that the Board could not make a decision <br />if they did not have an instrument survey. <br />It was discussed that in 1986 the applicants had come before <br />'L'.he Boar to seek a Variance for this addition. ~ i z2 <br />'~r.~ Board had <br />granted a Variance for the addition to come within 12 feet of <br />the Lot lire. E.`,ihen the addition was built it was only 10 feet <br />3-3'"C7,,z the Lot Tine, The applicant's did not realize this until <br />recently when they k'`tad applied to refinance the property. <br />The Board <br />again state? that they would need a certified plot <br />plan before going ahead with this application. it was discussed <br />that he hearing should be continued in order for the applicant <br />to obtain a Certified Plot Plan. <br />At 7:29 P.M. Mra pucker moved to continue the subject matte?_ <br />of this hearing until July 2, 1992 at 7.00 P.M. Ms. Scots` <br />seconded and the motion passed with a vote of 3-0. <br />The next gearing was on the petition of :David Dillaway who was <br />seeking a Variance under Section 5.1.2 , Table of Dimensional <br />Controls, of the Zonis; Div-Laws in order to build an addition <br />on the property located at 32 Beacon Street, Reading, MA. <br />Mr. 'tucker read the criteria the applicant would have to meet <br />in order to get relief from a Variance. <br />Mr. Dilladray stated that when the two car garage had been <br />measured that is where it had come. Ms. Scott asked if it was <br />
