TOWN OF READING <br />ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MINUTES-SEPTEMBER 2, 1993 <br />Members Present: ;john Jarema, Chairman <br />Stephen. `ducker <br />Carol Scott <br />Robinson Rummel* <br />Indicates non-voting member <br />. meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals was held in the <br />Selectmen's Meeting Rood of the Town Hall, 16 Laowel l <br />Street, Reading, at 7:00 P.M. <br />The hearing scheduled for the evening was a continuation on <br />the petition of Liberty Bell located at 17 Harnden Street, <br />who was seeping a Variance under Section. „2.3.1 an order <br />to extend a sign more than three feet over a public way. <br />Mr. Ja.rema noted for the record that at 7414 P.M. the <br />petitioner was not present at the hearing. He stated that <br />an attempt was made to contact the petitioner today and it <br />is discovered that the Liberty Bell had been sold since <br />t time the petition was filed. <br />It was discussed that the 'down had spoken to the partner of <br />Liberty Bell who stated that he was no longer interested, in <br />the petition. It was also discussed that the petitioner <br />had not appeared before the Board during the whole process. <br />At the first hearing a representative from the awning <br />company had been present <br />At 7:16 P.M. Mr. Tucker moved to grant a Variance under <br />Section 6.2.3.1 of the Zoning By-Laws in order to extend a <br />sign more than three feet over a public way on the property <br />located at 17 Harnden Street, on the petition of arolis <br />Lsantzakis.
