TOWN OF READING <br />ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MINUTES RC 1-0, 1994 <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: JOHN JAREM , CHAIRMAN <br />STEPHEN TUCKER <br />JOHN COOTS <br />meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals was held in the <br />Selectmen's Meeting Room of the Town Hall, 16 Lowell <br />Street, Reading, A at 7:00 P.M. It should be noted that <br />this meeting should have been held on March but was <br />cancelled due to weather conditions. <br />The first hearing was on the petition of Barry M. Sullivan <br />who was ;peeking a Special Permit under Sections 6.3.3.3 <br />and 6.3.3.4 of the Zoning By-Laws to permit the elimination <br />of the attached garage area of the non--conforming structure <br />located at 4 Lewis Street and permit its conversion to a <br />family-room. <br />Mr. arem a l tie from the u11 v n' ate aneyY <br />Christoher C. Fallon, stating that neither he nor the <br />petitioners could be present at this meeting. He also <br />asked that the hearing be continued until April 7, 1994. <br />14P also stated that the 8ullivans were willing to extend <br />t time allowed to render a petition as to a Variance <br />r until April 22, 1994 <br />c f'm11 P.M. Mr. Fucker moved to continue the bearing until <br />Aril , 1994. Mr. Coote seconded and the motion passed <br />with a vote of 3-0. <br />The neat hearing was on the petition of Frederick J. Ravens <br />III who was seeking a Variance under Section 5.1.2 for a <br />rear and side yard set back for the addition to the <br />structure located at 198 Ash Street and located in a <br />Business A Zone. <br />Dr. Ravens then discussed that he had owned the property <br />since 1978. He stated that currently he had one treatment <br />room and a lab and sterilization area.. He stated that it <br />took 10 minutes to sterilize the treatment room between <br />patients. He would like to add an addition so that he <br />could have 2 treatment rooms to make the patient flow <br />easier. With the new OSHA Laws working time had been <br />reduced. He would also like to have a separate Lab and <br />Sterilization room according to the regulation. <br />•--a Brialn Woods, the arc `itec:t for the project, then <br />d _usse that the lot Ll Pie shaped.
