TOW P" READING <br />ZONING 7. 7 OF APPEALS <br />MINUTES- Ar IL , 1994 <br />Members Present: John Jarema, Chairman <br />Stephen Tucker <br />Ardi,th i eworka <br />A meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals was held in the <br />Selectmen's Meeting Room of the Town all, 16 Lowell <br />Street, Reading, MA at 71s00 P.M. <br />The first public hearing was on the petition of Brent Ames <br />Wilkes who was seeking a Variance under Section <1,2 or a <br />Special Permit in accordance with Sections .3.3.3 and <br />6.3.3.4 of the Zoning By-Laws in order to enclose a corner <br />of the existing house on the property located at 43 Grand <br />Street Reading, MA. <br />Mr. Wilkes then discussed that their house was built in <br />1;9 At this time they would like to :modernize the <br />kit and fill in the notch in the house to make it <br />1=: . He stated that they would not increase the <br />encroachment and that the abutters on both sides of the <br />property had no objections. He also stated that this would: <br />be a one story addition. <br />Mr. Jarema stated that both he and Mr. Tucker had seen the <br />property and had no problem with it. They felt that it was <br />just an extension of the existing line. <br />At :1 P.M. Ms a Wi,eworka moved to grant a Special :,permit <br />to Brent Ames Wilkes under Section 6.3.3.3 and ,3>3.4 of <br />the Reading Zoning Bar--Laws in order to enclose an existing <br />corner of the house and build an addition on the property <br />located at 43 Grand Street, Reading, MA. The addition will <br />encroach no further than the existing line of the house as <br />indicated on plan of land by JCD Incorporated and dated. <br />March 14, 1994, Mr. Tucker seconded and the motion passed <br />with a vote of 3-0. <br />The second public heaping was the continued hearing of <br />Barry M. Sullivan. Mr. Jarema stated that the attorney for <br />the applicant had called the office to withdraw. He was <br />told $v ha t they would have to come in and say so ¢ The <br />applicant was not present so the Board decided to wait <br />until 7:30 to see if the applicant would, appear. <br />
