TOWN OF READING <br />ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 3, 1998 <br />,ss. <br />P :a <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: CHRISTOPHER VACCARO, CHAIRMAN <br />JOHN COOTE <br />MICHAEL LARKIN <br />A meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Meeting Room of the Town Hall, 16 Lowell Street, Reading, Massachusetts <br />at 7:OOPM. Mr. Vaccaro swore in, under oath, those present that would be <br />addressing the Board this evening. <br />The first Public Hearing was a continuation on-the petition of Cellco <br />Partnership d/b/a Bell Atlantic Mobile who seeks a Special Permit under <br />Section 4.3.5 of the Zoning By-Laws in order to locate a commercial <br />structure on the property located at 2 Summit Drive in Reading, <br />Massachusetts. (Case #98-17) <br />Attorney Mario L. Simeola represented the petitioner. After discussion with <br />the Board, the petitioner requested to withdraw the request for a Variance <br />without prejudice. <br />A motion was made, seconded and unanimously voted to allow the <br />petitioner to withdraw the request for a Special Permit without prejudice. <br />VOTE 3-0 (passed) <br />The next Public Hearing was on the petition of Eric Jason Smith who seeks a <br />Variance and/or Special Permit and any other relief as deemed necessary the <br />Board of Appeals under Section(s) 5.1.2 / 6.3.3.4 of the Zoning By-Laws in <br />order to construct a dormer on the property located at 12 Middle Street in <br />Reading, Massachusetts. (Case #98-20) <br />Attorney Steven L. Cicatelli represented the petitioner. He stated that the <br />property is located in an A40 district having an area of 8,579 square feet and <br />frontage of 65 feet containing a two story dwelling which as three <br />apartments. The property does not conform to the requirements of the By- <br />Laws as to area, frontage, front yard set back, and side yard set backs. <br />
