MINUTES - BOARD OF REGISTRARS <br />AUGUST 18, 1992 <br />Chairman, C. Dewey Smith called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m. with <br />Registrars Smith, Malphrus, Hulse and Quimby present. <br />Catherine A. Quimby moved that the Registrar Stamp be used for certification <br />of petition and nomination papers for an indefinite amount of time. The stamp <br />will also be used to certify absentee ballot applications. This motion was <br />seconded by Gloria Hulse and unanimously voted. <br />Catherine A. Quimby moved that the Somerset Nursing Home and Daniels House be <br />"designated as a health care facility". Seconded by Gloria Hulse and unanimously <br />voted. Registrars decided that this voting would take place at 10:30 a.m. on <br />Monday, September 14, 1992. Cathy will notify the nursing homes in writing. <br />Pearl Malphrus reported that she had conducted a "Voter Registration Session" <br />at the Somerset Nursing Home on Saturday, August 8, 1992 from 9:00 a.m. to <br />noon. Eleven new registrants were processed; 8 from the home and 3 from the <br />community. <br />Members unanimously agreed to retain the same Chair, C.
