ED <br />LERK <br />G, MASS- <br />Reading School Committee <br />Reading, Massachusetts <br />z0tS ,,,AR 23 o~ 0b <br />Regular Session January 10, 2005 <br />Call to Order <br />Chair McFadden called the regular session to order in the Superintendents Conference <br />Room at 7:35 p.m. Present were Mrs. Gibbs, Ms. Webb, Mr. McFadden, Mr. Carpenter <br />and Mr. Spadafora. Also present were Superintendent Schettini, Associate <br />Superintendent Richards, Human Resources and Finance Director Mary DeLai, FinCom <br />member Richard McDonald and Student Representative Michael O'Brien. <br />Superintendent Schettini welcomed Michael O'Brien and thanked Bridget McMillan for <br />her service. <br />Bills and Payrolls <br />There were no Bills and Payrolls. <br />Citizen's Input <br />There was none. <br />Gifts <br />The Superintendent stated that Mr. Peter Axelson of Garnet Consulting made a generous <br />donation of $2,000 to the Parker Middle School Technology Fund. <br />Ms. Webb left the room. <br />Mrs Gibbs moved to accept the $2000 donation from Peter Axelson, Garnet <br />Consulting to the Parker Middle School Technology Fund. Mr. Spadafora <br />seconded the motion The vote was 4-0 Mr. Spadafora, Mr. McFadden, Mr. <br />Carpenter and Mrs. Gibbs. <br />Ms. Webb returned. <br />There was discussion regarding Tsunami relief. <br />There was discussion about a change in the School Calendar. <br />Mrs Gibbs moved to change the Middle School In-Service Day from April 5, 2005 <br />T T c a F <br />Mr. Carpenter and Mrs. Gibbs. <br />
