rt <br />`"LER, <br />Reading School Committee lv`: <br />Reading, Massachusetts <br />Regular Session May 9, 2005 <br />Call to Order <br />Chair McFadden called the School Committee to order at 7:40 p.m. in the <br />Superintendent's Conference Room. Present were Mr. Dahl, Mr. McFadden, Ms. Webb <br />and Mr. Spadafora. Also present were Superintendent Schettini, Director of Human <br />Resources and Finance Mary DeLai and Student Representative, Michael O'Brien. <br />Bills and Payrolls <br />Bills and Payrolls were circulated for signature. <br />Citizen's Input <br />There was no Citizen's Input. <br />Gifts <br />There were no gifts. <br />New Business <br />There was discussion regarding field trips. <br />Martha Moore, RMHS Science teacher, gave an overview of a student field trip to Peru <br />next year. She stated she would take the students in April or at the end of June 2006. <br />Mr. Spadafora moved to approve the field trip to Peru during the 2005-2006 school <br />year as outlined in the Superintendent's memorandum dated May 5, 2005 Mr. Dahl <br />seconded the motion. The vote was 4-0. Mr. Dahl Mr. McFadden Ms. Webb and <br />Mr. Spadafora <br />Gary D'Entremont, RMHS Social Studies teacher, explained a student trip to London, <br />England next school year. The field trip would focus on World War II as well as, cultural <br />events. <br />Mr. Spadafora moved to approve the field trip to London, England during the 2005- <br />2006 school year as outlined in the Superintendent's memorandum dated May 5, <br />2005. Ms. Webb seconded the motion. The vote was 4-0. Mr. Dahl Mr. McFadden <br />Ms. Webb and Mr. Spadafora <br />
