TOWN OF READING <br />COMMUNITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />Minutes for Meeting dated: February 10, 2003 <br />STAFF BRIEFING <br />Master Plan Visioning Session <br />The March 3 meeting is canceled, but there is a meeting on February 12, 2003 <br />with MAPC about the visioning session. <br />The Advisory Committee will be appointing people soon, but haven t been done <br />yet. <br />The CPDC needs to be sworn in. <br />Spence/Longzuood <br />There was a working group meeting recently. They went over the pro forma. <br />There was only draft conditions from Brad Latham. The Commission hasn't <br />gotten the pro forma draft yet. <br />Longwood is going to be in front of the ZBA on Thursday. <br />RH goes over some of the items that jump out at him, which he sent out to the <br />Commission. <br />There was talk about putting a soccer field in the back. However, it would be <br />subject to flooding during the Spring when it would be most beneficial to the <br />residents. <br />JB would like to see some location for having recreation on the site, but there <br />may not be a lot of area for it. <br />Van Norden LIP <br />There was a meeting with applicant this past Friday. <br />The applicant will work to delineate the third vernal pool. <br />CR updates the Commission. <br />RH mentions that you cant really delineate the last pool until the snow is gone. <br />Fran Fink would like to wait until March to delineate it. <br />There will be a site walk on February 22 on one of the developers properties in <br />Tewksbury at 9 AM. <br />RH has come up with some conditions regarding this project. <br />APPROVAL NOT REQUIRED PLAN <br />Dana A. Ballou - 412 South Street <br />CR shows the Commission a plan on what the applicant would like to do. <br />RH moves to not endorse the plan because it is not clear what the applicant <br />wants to do. MF seconds.
