TOWN OF READING <br />ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MINUTES OF JULY 20, 2000 <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: CHRISTOPHER VACCARO, CHAIRMAN T <br />SUSAN MILLER <br />BERNARD O'SHAUGHNESSY <br />MICHAEL LARKIN <br />JOHN JAREMA <br />A meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's Meeting Room of <br />the Town Hall, 16 Lowell Street, Reading, Massachusetts at 7:00 PM. <br />Case #00-15 <br />A continuance of a Public Hearing on the petition of Richard Chase who seeks a special <br />permit under Section(s) 6.3/6.3.3.4 of the Zoning By-Laws in order to demolish an <br />existing dwelling on a non-conforming lot and to construct a new dwelling on that non- <br />conforming lot on the property located at 11 Nelson Avenue in Reading, MA. <br />Richard Chase submitted a list, from the tax assessors office, of the property owners <br />abutting his property, dating back to 1967. This property satisfies the conditions of <br />Section 6.3.1.2 of the Zoning By-laws. <br />On a motion by Susan Miller, seconded by Bernard O'Shaughnessy, the Zoning Board of <br />Appeals voted that the decision of the Building Inspector denying the building permit for <br />Richard Chase at the property at 11 Nelson Ave., Reading, MA be overturned and that <br />the building inspector be requested to grant a building permit to demolish the existing <br />dwelling and construct a new dwelling. <br />The motion was approved by a vote of 3-0-0. <br />Case #00-18 <br />A continuation on the public hearing on the petition of Kenneth and Brenda Hobart who <br />seeks a special permit under Section 6.3/6.3.3.4 of the Zoning By-Laws in order to <br />construct a new single family dwelling on the non-conforming property located at 25 <br />Vista Avenue, Reading, MA. <br />Christopher Vaccaro swore in the applicants. Atty. James Flood represented the <br />petitioner. Atty. Flood submitted the assessor's records for the abutting properties to <br />prove this property was not owned in duel ownership. This property is 6,180 Sq. ft. and <br />was established before 1967. <br />
