New page will have a "Virtual Town
Hall".All of our forms, guidelines, etc. will be on the town server.Contact
information is Chairman and e-mail address. When replying to official e-mail the
Chairman is the first responder. Two things that should not go on the town's
website are personal information and contact information, other than the
Chairman.
3. New members: 3 out of 7 members could be homeowners but there is potential for
conflict of interest. MG is going to step down but SP will stay on. We can have 5
members with up to 4 alternates. Membership could consist of. 1 member from
the antiquarian society, 1 architect, 1 or 2 property owners, 1 realtor, 1 historic
commission member (KG). We discussed how to grow the commission. DC
suggested Nancy Twomey, local architect and SG suggested Rick Nazarro, local
realtor.
4. Goals :
a.Signs:DK reported that Peter H. said there is no problem with pursuing
corporate donations. He wants to"approach Archstone and other big
developments on West St. Peter also suggested raising funds from
homeowners. DK would like to begin the process of asking for corporate
donations. DC questioned why this is needed. PH had told her the town would
make the signs we had designed and he had ok'd. Does a town department
(DPW) bill the commission which is a town committee? DC said she would
like to go back to Peter H. and ask him about the funding process of this
through the town, if there is one.
b. Inventory: MG reported that 64 houses need to be inventoried. There is a
uniform Form B provided by the state. DK has a power point presentation on
22 homes. Can we just add info. to that? MG asked if we had contacted
realtors. MG gave the inventory information to SP.
