Schettini, Jr.-Superintendent of Schools <br />Mary DeLai-Director of Human Resource and Finances <br />John Doherty, Assistant Superintendent of Schools <br />1. Call to Order <br />School Committee Chair, Ms. Lisa Gibbs called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. and read the mission <br />statement of the Reading Public Schools. <br />IIA. Bills and Payroll <br />Signed as required. <br />IIB. Citizen's Input <br />None <br />IIC. Gifts <br />None <br />IID. Reports: Chairperson and School Committee Members <br />• Mr. Caruso commented positively on the new little league field. <br />TIE. Reports: Superintendent <br />0 Superintendent Schettini addressed the recent rash of vandalism around the schools. <br />III. Approval of Field Trips <br />Superintendent Schettini presented the information on two field trips: RMHS and Coolidge Middle <br />School Field Trips to the National History Day National competition in Washington, D.C. <br />The committee voted on a motion by Mr. Caruso, seconded by Mrs. Janowski, to approve the <br />Reading Memorial High School National History Day field trip as outlined in the <br />Superintendent's memorandum dated April 18, 2008. Motion carries 5-0. <br />
