Call to Order <br />Chairperson Gibbs called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and read the mission of the Reading Public <br />Schools. She then reviewed the agenda for the evening. New Business <br />1. Approval of Field Trips <br />Parker - Costa Rica <br />Mr. Musselman and Ms. Connolly presented the Committee with details regarding the purpose, <br />objective, expectations for a year-long science club and a culminating field trip to Costa Rica in <br />April of 2009. <br />Mr. Michaud made a motion to approve the proposed Parker Middle School field trip to <br />_Costa Rica in April 2009 as part of the year long Science Club activities as outlined in the <br />Superintendent's memorandum dated May 28, 2008, seconded by Mr. Caruso. Motion <br />approved 6-0. <br />
