Reading Municipal Light Board <br />Executive Session <br />230 Ash Street, Reading, MA 01867 <br />July 27, 1998 <br />Start Time of Executive Session: 10:20 p.m. <br />End Time of Executive Session: 10:45 p.m. <br />Attendees: <br />Commissioners: Messrs. Pacino, Ames, Hughes, Burditt, and Swyter <br />RMLD Staff Messrs. Rucker, and Blomley <br />1. Minutes of July 13, 1998 <br />A motion was made by Mr. Burditt and seconded by Mr. Swyter to approve the 7/13/98 Executive <br />Meeting Minutes. <br />Motion carried 4:0 with 1 abstention (Mr. Pacino abstained because he was not at the 7/13/98 <br />meeting) <br />2. Board Discussions <br />a. North Reading Sub Station Location. <br />The RMLD is considering a new parcel of land brought to their attention again after their most recent <br />Meeting with the Green property neighbors. Pending the outcome of Mr. Barna's legal investigations, <br />Mr. Rucker asked the Board for their flexibility on his pursuing the possibility of utilizing this new <br />property location for the new sub station. <br />Discussion ensued regarding the advantages and disadvantages of this new location which were <br />primarily time and money. <br />The Board advised Mr. Rucker to focus on the Green property but gave Mr. Rucker a little flexibility on <br />pursuing/checking out this other N. Reading property. <br />e <br />3. Motion to Adjourn <br />Mr. Swyter moved and Mr. Ames seconded that the Board return to the Regular Session for the sole <br />purpose of adjourning. <br />Motion carried by a poll of the Board Members 5:0. <br />Mr. Ames - Aye; Mr. Swyter - Aye; Mr. Pacino - Aye; Mr. Burditt - Aye; and Mr. Hughes - Aye. <br />A true copy of the RMLD Board of Commissioners <br />minutes as approved by a majority of the Board. <br />Mr. Willard Byrd tt <br />Secretary, RMLD Board of Commissioners <br />
