Reading Municipal Light Board <br />Executive Session Minutes <br />Meeting Location: 230 Ash Street, Reading, MA 01867 <br />June 8, 1998 <br />Start Time of Executive Session: 9:35 p.m. <br />End Time of Executive Session: 10:30 p.m. <br />Attendees: <br />Commissioners: Messrs. Pacino, Ames, Hughes, Burditt and Swyter <br />RMLD Staff: Messrs. Rucker and Blomley <br />1. Executive Minutes of May 18, 1998 <br />Move that the RMLD accept the Executive Session minutes of May 18, 1998 on the recommendation of <br />Mr. Burditt. <br />Motion carried 5:0 <br />2. Update on acquisition of North Reading Real Estate (no enclosure) <br />A real estate agent met with the owner of the property in question. The property owner is asking a <br />premium for his house and land because he doesn't want to sell. Mr. Rucker thinks the RMLD <br />should wait on any purchase since they don't need the property now and asked that the Board leave <br />the option open to purchase this property at a later date. <br />3. Zarmina Ahmed Litigation <br />Mr. Rucker stated that all documentation was complete and that the presentment period ends soon. <br />He stated that he is expecting a suit but that the town will be the primary target. He also stated that <br />the RMLD has a very good case. <br />4. Update on CRAB case <br />Mr. Burditt requested that Mr. Rucker prepare a cost breakdown of the case and the appeals for the ` <br />next meeting. <br />5. Motion to Adjourn <br />Moved that the Board return to Regular Session for the sole purpose of adjourning. <br />Mr. Burditt moved; Mr. Ames seconded. <br />Motion carried by a poll of the Board Members 5:0. <br />Mr. Ames, Aye.
