OQ <br />Locatiow Reading Police Station - Lommunity Room 7:30 PM <br />Present: Robin D'Antona, School Committee designee; Terry Jones; Paul <br />KellPhil Maher, Board of Selectmen designee; Carol Roberts, Town of <br />Reading personnel; Sumi Sinnatamby, Margaret Soli; 1= <br />i . Minutes of previous meeting approved. <br />2. Reorganization voted to stay the same as current. Vote u to 0. <br />3. Standard questions proposed for interviewing town clergy. Three questions <br />developed to be written for review at Sep. 2001 meeting. <br />4. Terry Jones initiated discussion to put a questionnaire on the Reading web <br />site. Robin D'Antona to develop specific questions and Carol Roberts to <br />look into the technical process. <br />5. Goals were brought up again for further review and consensus. Paul Kelly <br />to arrange for a guest to address the committee in Sep. <br />b. Discussion of programs in schools "unity groups", assemblies etc. <br />7. Discussion was started on the Suggested Guidelines and Concepts <br />submitted by Phil Mailer. Respect for free speech #3 was opposed by some <br />members. Also #9 on education programs was questioned by some as <br />unnecessary. <br />8. Margaret Soli passed out articles dealing with violence for the group to <br />review and the meeting was adjourned. <br />Minutes by Phil Maher standing in for Emily Maughan, Secretary who was <br />absent. <br />04nZ4 <br />
