It is fine where it is. If. --an also be moved within <br />certain parameters. Bates suggested for a continuation of the hearing are Oct. 19, <br />Oct. 12, or the Oct. 16. <br />214 lV st St.: Virginia and Clay went through the house again. Roberta brought all <br />the issues as to why this house should not go on the inventory. Clay mentioned all <br />the good features that still remain. Much of the interior has been removed. There <br />is some concern that the commission is being maneuvered to act of this request. <br />The house is between two properties that are already on the inventory. The area is <br />a good candidate to be designated an historic district. 1"ne meeting will be at our <br />next regular meeting on Nov. 13. Clay will send a letter to both Barrett and the <br />Building Inspector. <br />1371 N/lain St.: Demo delay runs out October 5. The commission made the <br />determination that there is no reasonable likelihood that the property will be <br />restored and the delay will be released on Oct. 5. Approved 5-0-0. <br />Bylaw: Clay i nade this motion: When a commission member has in hand a permit <br />for demolition application and is satisfied that the applicant is the owner of record, <br />then the application shall be time stamped at the gown Clerks office, starting the <br />14-day process for an Initial Determination. Approved 5-0-0 Clay will write the <br />building inspector on both these issues. <br />RAS is doing a cemetery walk on Oct. 28th. Virginia felt we could join forces with <br />the society. <br />The Reading Advocate wants historical articles. <br />Plaques: Owners of historic properties went into on appropriate plaques for their <br />homes. <br />Edgerly and Besson6 is yip for sale and may be converted into 5 apartn6ents.
