Reading Historic Commission Meeting Minutes 6 January 2005 <br />Meeting called to order at 7:40 pm in the Town Hall Conference Room <br />Board Members in attendance included: <br />Virginia Adams <br />Roberta Sullivan" <br />Wilbur Hoxie <br />Sharlene Reynolds Santo, acting secretary <br />> <br />• Virginia notified the Commission that deed restrictions for 483 Franklin St haze be <br />approved by counsel, but have not yet been signed by the owners. <br />• Carriage House bylaw workshop to be held January 10, 2005 at 7pm. The Commission is <br />petitioning the town to pass a carriage house/barn/stable bylaw at this spring's Town <br />Meeting. This revised bylaw has been rewritten to strengthen its preservation aspects and <br />include input from CPDC. Roberta handed out a packet including the proposed bylaw along <br />with an updated list of possible properties that could be impacted by such a bylaw. Wilbur <br />questioned how this would impact owner who wants to use the building for some other use <br />(i/e personal or recreational). Sharlene motioned to accept this proposed Carriage <br />house/barn/stable zoning bylaw dated 1-10-2005. Wilbur seconded the motioned Vote 4-0-0. <br />• Virginia was interviewed by Arts & Entertainment for an upcoming City Confidential <br />episode to air next April. The interview was regarding the hockey rink murder in Reading a <br />few years back. <br />• A legal notice has been posted for the Harnden/Pleasant Street's Public Meeting for January <br />18th at 7:30 in the Town Hall Conference room. The demolished delay checklist was <br />reviewed for this property. Roberta and Sharlene will finalized and prepare the agenda. The <br />Commission will request a tour of the building for documentation. <br />• Adjourned at 9:05 pm. <br />• Next regular monthly meeting is scheduled for February 1St <br />
