Roberta
proposed that The Commission get involved now and spend some of the preservation money to hire an
expert to review the property. Peter Hechenbleikner said that The Commission should have a listing of
what can be done with the property. The property is in a residential zone, but it is zoned as a warehouse or
organ factory. The Commission should try to come up with a way to salvage the facade and frame of the
building.
717 Pearl Street:
The owner wants to dismantle and sell the barn. He will need to reapply for demolition and go through the
demolition delay because the permits expire in one year.
Public outreach:
Discussion of a walking Tour of the Town Square on June 25, 2005 during Community Day.
Train Depot:
The flashing neon sign may be legal.
