Reading Historical Commission Minutes
January 9, 2006
Members of the Commission attended a zoning workshop held by the Community
Planning and Development Commission at the Police Station Community Room on Mon.
January 9, 2006 at 8:15pm. Historical Commission members present were: Virginia
Adams, Kathy Greenfield, Karen Herrick, Wilbar Hoxie and Roberta Sullivan. Also
attending were Clayton Jones and Diane Jones. The commissions reviewed the most
recent draft of the proposed Historic Preservation Zoning Relief Bylaw including Town
Counsel's comments that the Historical Commission received at the meeting. Counsel's
comments were accepted and apparently no unresolved issues remain.
The Commission then left the CPDC meeting and met briefly in the lobby to plan an
additional meeting on Tue. Jan. 17th prior to meeting with the Selectmen on Jan 24th.
A meeting with Shirley Day, owner of 420 Franklin St. is set up for Tue. Jan. 10 at her
home with Roberta Sullivan, Virginia Adams and David O'Sullivan, architect, to review
development options.
A motion to adjourn was made at 9:40 by Roberta Sullivan.
Respectfully submitted,
Virginia Adams, acting secretary
t
}
i
