D <br />Reading Historical Commission Meeting Minutes j ' i ; _ ,1~ " <br />E-wf,' Ui U, r I ` jj. <br />Meeting called to order at 7:30 pm in the Town Hall Conference Room <br />zgt kid'( 20 A <br />Commission Members in attendance included: <br />Virginia Adams Mark Cardono <br />Kathy Greenfield, Chair Karen Herrick <br />Roberta Sullivan, Treasurer Susan Patterson <br />Sharlene Reynolds Santo, Secretary <br />Minutes: ` <br />• The goal of this meeting was to review buildings in the proposed 40R Smart Growth District for <br />historic significance. The by-law approved last December was designed to encourage smart <br />growth in Reading. This by law should be available on the town web site (4.11.1). Members of <br />the Commission have done a walking tour of most of this area compiled photos and some basic <br />details of the properties. Only 12 properties are currently on the Town's Historical and <br />Architectural Inventory but all will be considered during this process. The group commenced <br />reviewing the area via photos and town materials. More discussion is required prior to any <br />decision. <br />• Meeting adjourned at 10:00 pm <br />• The next meetings is scheduled for May 6, 2008 at 7:30 pm <br />f~°M <br />
