BOARD OF HEALTH MEETIN <br />MINUTES ' W N C L E R K <br />E H D f N G' MASS. <br />November 8, 2007 RE, <br />The Board of Health meeting was called to order on NoveAf§BA07 5&T5 pY by <br />Chairman Barbara Meade at the Berger Room, Town Hall. Those present at the meeting <br />were Barbara Meade, Colleen Seferian, and David Singer. <br />In attendance Ben Tafoya: Board of Selectmen's Liaison, Steven and Nanette Matrullo, <br />Jim Davin, Regional Director of Business Development - Epicurean Feast and staff <br />liaison/Health Services Administrator Larry Ramdin. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Minutes October 11, 2007 were read and accepted 3:0:0 <br />NEXT ORDER OF BUSINESS <br />Well application 34 Spruce Road <br />An application to construct a non-potable well at 34 Spruce Road was presented to the <br />Board; the Health Services Director reviewed the application and recommended approval <br />of the application. Mr. and Mrs. Matrullo advised the Board that the well will be for <br />' irrigation purposes only. Mr. Matrullo said Mrs. Matrullo was in contact with Larry <br />- Ramdin, who explained the process for well application and approval, and they were <br />clear as to the requirements. Members enquired as to the numbers of wells approved in <br />the aquifer district and were advised that since the town no longer draws water from the <br />wells, the impact on town water supply will not be impacted <br />Further, the Board recommended that the Matrullo's comply with current town watering <br />policies and also advised that they are required with all other existing laws and rules <br />relevant their use of the well for irrigation. The Matrullo's agreed to comply with the <br />laws and will endeavor to adhere to town watering policies. The recommendations will be <br />included in the approval notice. The application was approved 3:0:0. <br />LIP/M Holdings dba Epicurean Feast, 55 Walkers Brook Drive <br />Epicurean Feast has applied for a Food Establishment permit at 55 Walkers Brook Drive; <br />representing Epicurean Feast is Jim Davin. The permit is for re-opening a cafeteria in an <br />existing building, providing Breakfast and Lunch. The Health Administrator advised that <br />he has visited the facility with Joan Vitale - Health Inspector and the facility has some <br />construction issues to remedy, Dumpster permit has been issued, Pest Control <br />management program in place. Approval is recommended pending inspection to ensure <br />compliance with 105CMR590- Food establishments regulations. The application was <br />approved pending final inspection by the Health Division 3:0:0 <br />
